The Vision
Where will the museum be located?
We are actively looking throughout the area for a site which will serve the best interests of Bucks County’s residents. Accessibility for families, schools, and tourists is a top priority. Please contact us if you would like to find out more about the tax advantages of donating a site to our nonprofit organization.

How big will the museum be?
The size of the museum will be determined by the final site selection and exhibit needs. A 10,000 -15,000 square foot facility is anticipated.

When will the museum open?
Spring 2011 – or sooner!

What kind of exhibits will be in the museum?
The exhibits will be as unique as Bucks County itself. Young visitors and their caregivers will experience an exciting mix of archeology, geology, history and heritage.

Proposed Exhibits:
Early Bucks Archeological Dig: Get your hands dirty in an archeological dig unearthing precious artifacts from the early days of Bucks County.

Bucks County Farm Stand: Discover the importance of agriculture in our region while experiencing farm life first hand. Harvest local crops, tend to livestock and come-to-market on a scale model farm.

Town Square: Travel back 100 years to experience early 1900’s Bucks County. Visit the general store, take a ride on a trolley, and check out a turn-of the-century post office!

Landforms: Explore colorful murals and maps depicting natural treasures including waterfalls and caves all while scaling the rock wall modeled after regional landforms.

Watersheds: Get a little wet while exploring watersheds and discovering the wildlife that calls these waterways home. Learn about pollution and how to preserve Bucks County’s lakes and streams.
