We've achieved a dream.

What began as a dream of a local elementary and special education teacher, is now the first children's museum in Bucks County. We've come a long way since our early fundraising years and look forward to make a positive contribution to the community for many more years to come.

2007 – 2008

• Conducted First Board Meeting
• Received 501(c) 3 Approval
• Secured First Individual and Corporate Donations

2009

• Joined the Association of Children's Museums and the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce
• Compiled Over 2,400 Volunteer Hours
• Met With Over 200 Community and Business Leaders
• Began Community/Corporate Outreach Initiatives
• Secured Over $20,000 In-Kind Gifts
• Created Brand Identity and Marketing Communications
• Launched Our Website, BucksKids.org
• Developed First Major Fundraising Plan—The Cornerstone Campaign
• Completed Three-Year Strategic Plan

2009 – 2010

• Developed Press Materials and Launched Press
• Campaign
• Completed Application of Initial Grant Monies
• Began "Peek Inside the Museum Walls" Series
• Developed Community Outreach Program
• Held First Fundraising Special Event, "Family Day at the Polo Club"
• Awarded DCED Grant from the State of Pennsylvania
• Secured Museum Site in New Hope, PA

2011

• Began Construction
• Hosted Museum Unveiling Event
• Museum Opens on November 1
